You deserve a treat!
In 2025 we opened the doors to our beautiful cake and pastry shop on 129 Maling Road, Canterbury. Our cake and pastry cabinets change with the seasons and with whatever we’re feeling that week, but you’ll always find a big, beautiful spread of cakes, tarts, pastries and cookies. Every cake, filling and dough is made from scratch in our tiny kitchen. Yes, even the croissants. We don’t use pre-made mixes and you can absolutely taste the difference, and so can everyone you bring.
We recommend checking our Instagram to give you an idea of the current menu. We can promise it’ll be excellent, and that butter is in everything. We always have at least 1 to 2 gluten-free options as well in the cake cabinet. In fact, our gluten-free passionfruit basque is our best-seller (and for good reason!). There are always a few savoury items as well, including focaccias, sausage rolls and savoury pastries.
We serve up coffee, using beans from Four Rascals, Prana chai for all the chai-lovers, Kali Hot Chocolates and iced lattes for warm days. Have it in a cute mug, or order it to-go.
We also love being a part of the local community. On Fridays from 8.30am to 10.30am, we run Tired Mums Club. You’ve dropped the kids at school, survived the morning and Goddess knows you deserve all the treats, so your coffee is free when you buy a cake or pastry. Despite the name, everyone is welcome, whether you’re a parent, a nan, a nightshift worker or someone who’s simply tired and wants a free coffee. Just turn up, order something delicious and let us take care of the caffeine. Most importantly – kids are always welcome to tag along!
On Sundays, we host Cake & Create. Bring along whatever craft you’re working on, whether that’s the knitting that’s been sitting in a bag for a month, an embroidery hoop or a half-finished crochet blanket, then grab a slice of cake and settle in for a slow, cosy afternoon. Come on your own or bring a friend and expect to meet other people doing the same. All crafts, all skill levels and all stages of “I’ll finish this one day” are welcome. It’s on every Sunday from 12–2.
